Session 3 - Community & Service. What does community mean to you? How are you aware (or not, but you’d like to be) of being the light of Christ in your own life? Being part of a community is a big reason many people come to church. Though for some, nodding at folks on the way out the door is community enough. Similarly, some are motivated by ways that the church serves others, while others can sometimes experience service as another demand in an already challenging life. Reflect on what’s important to you in community life and how you contribute to that, and learn about the organic ways we express service in our daily lives.
